I spoke at the WPPI convention in Vegas earlier this month on shooting video on DSLR’s. My background is in shooting commercials and stock footage. I felt to understand the Fusion phenomena that is moving through the wedding world and to make my presentation at WPPI relevant to my audience I should shoot a Fusion Engagement HD Video to show there. I
did not want to just shoot pretty photos and Video of the couple and blend them together. I really wanted to tell the couples story. I could have hired 10 guys and headed out to shoot this project but that seemed counter intuitive. It needed to be a small production that focused on their story. I shot this piece in 12 hours with me and one other guy.
