This image was shot for Mitsubishi trucks on location in Los Angeles. The image is a composite of two images with color correction work done on them before they were  composed. Julene and I differ on this process at times. She likes to do the composite work and then the color work.  I like to make the color corrections to the elements and make them match each other before they are composed. There are problems both ways. On the one hand If you use color correct first if you have dust specks they will be amplified when you add layers and color effects.  On the other hand the elements seem to match better if they are corrected before hand.  We use several programs to color correct our images.  For this image we used a color program or photographic filter program called Color Effects Pro 3.0 by Nick Software.  Here is a link.Link:  http://www.niksoftware.com/colorefexpro/usa/entry.php
I used a Bleach Bypass process achieve the look in this image. The lack of color gives the image a very rugged feeling. There are many options with this software that will be of great benefit to you if you are interested in using a color filter program with on your images.
